Nye County Planning Department offers a Pre-Application Process:

The Pre-Application process is designed to provide early feedback to applicants from Planning, Building, Public Works, Fire and Sheriff's Departments on their projects prior to entering the formal application process.  this applies to applications for the Pahrump Regional Planning Commission (PRPC), the Nye County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), as well as the departmental Site Plan Development Review Process.

This service is provided at no cost to applicants, and helps to eliminate potential issues prior to paying the required fees to commence through the formal Development Review Process.
