In 2008 US Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Development implemented a Solid Waste Management Grant Program.  Through this program Nye County was able to reach out to develop and implement a sustainable county-wide Solid Waste Minimization and Household Hazardous Waste Management Plan.  Click here to download the complete plan.
